Church Anniversaries
Is your church planning to celebrate an anniversary?
The American Baptist Historical Society would like to recognize your special event with a letter and personalized certificate for your congregation. The certificate can be sent directly to the church. Or, if a representative of the regional office is attending your celebration, the certificate can be mailed to their office.
Just send
- the name of your church,
- the pastor's name,
- the anniversary you are celebrating (25th, 50th, 100th, etc), and
- the date of the celebration
and we will make sure the certificate arrives in time for presentation. Mail your request to ABHS Church Anniversary, 3001 Mercer University Dr., Atlanta, GA 30341.
Information for Church Historians
The Historical Society is updating its list of current church historians. If you have someone in your church who is filling the position of church historian, please send their name to the Historical Society at 3001 Mercer University Dr., Atlanta, GA 30341, and we will send out information that will assist them in maintaining your church records.
